Presenting an Innovative approach for inorganic salts extraction from Black Liquor under hydrothermal liquefaction conditions at EUBCE2023

BL2F presented at this year’s European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE). EUBCE is the world’s largest conference and exhibition focused on biomass, and it attracts experts from both academia and industry who are looking to accelerate research and market uptake of biomass technologies globally.

At this year’s conference, the following abstracts were presented:

Canabarro, N., Yeadon, D., Vogel, F., and Baudouin, D., Inorganic salts extraction from Black Liquor under hydrothermal liquefaction conditions. View abstract

Wörner, M., Barsuhn, A., Hornung, U., Dahmen, N., From pulp to aromatic products – Understanding the lignin depolymerization during hydrothermal liquefaction (HTL). View abstract

Blücher, D., Lange, T., Sandquist, J., Saanum, I., Corrosion performance of different alloys exposed to HTL conditions. View abstract

Joronen, T., Agrawal, V., Arjmand, B., Konttinen, J., Design and Modelling of the Integrated Hydrothermal Liquefaction IHTL Reactor. View abstract

The opportunity to present these abstracts allowed BL2F to share its research with the global biomass community and engage in discussions about the future of sustainable energy.
